I think it's too much noise reduction that you're reacting to. Makes them look less real sometimes.

Lots of post-processing, which I normally don't like, but I don't think I've ever seen it done more spectacularly.

It looks more like true artwork than any automotive photography I've seen before. And he lets you download them for wallpapers! Legend :)

My bet is he took the pictures just while on the move at car shows. He obviously didn't have the chance to photograph each individual car so he made do with what he had and obviously there's a fair amount of editing but that shouldn't detract from the pictures. I actually prefer this style of hyper-real.
